Over fifty years ago, two men had a dream of becoming Toledo’s premier janitorial service provider. Remarkably, with just a single account, they relocated their families from Cleveland to Toledo to pursue this exciting business venture.
Starting with these two founders, our company has grown significantly. We now employ over two hundred people and continue to expand our client base. Today, Advance Cleaning is proud to be one of the largest cleaning firms in Northwest Ohio.
Our traditional approach to service, rooted in hard work, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to our customers, has remained unchanged for over five decades.

Josh Carmody
General Manager
Josh has been with Advance Cleaning Contractors since 2007. As General Manager he oversees the janitorial and lawn care divisions. Josh works closely with the office staff as well as operations departments to ensure Advance is meeting the needs of the customers. He believes acting with integrity, good communication and providing excellent service cultivate strong long-lasting relationships. In 2017 Josh graduated Suma Cum Laude with his business degree from Northwest State Community College.
David Trzonkowski
Operations Manager
Dave has worked with Advance Cleaning Contractors since 1983. His knowledge and experience in floor and carpet care, industrial deep cleaning, and construction/disaster cleanup has been invaluable to our team. He is an instrumental part of our specialty crew. Dave also attends training seminars and oversees the specialty crews.
Anthony Brown
Customer Service / Marketing Manager
Anthony has been with Advance Cleaning Contractors since 2019. His background is in customer service and broadcast communications for over 10 years. Anthony has earned the following certifications from ISSA: Workloading Specialist, Accredited Auditing & Certified Supervisor. Anthony works very hard to ensure Advance Cleaning is meeting the expectations of our customers.
